TENNCARE PRIOR AUTHORIZATION APPROVED FOR 80% OF PHYSICIANS who reported having sought prior approval for a drug not included on the TermCare formulary, according to a Pfizer-supported phone survey of 200 TermCare doctors. The survey was commissioned by the Andrew Jackson Institute, which describes itself as a "nonpartisan public policy think tank focused on Tennessee state issues," and conducted by Yankelovich Partners. "Funding was provided by Pfizer," the institute reported.
