"Does not contract with mail-order companies at discount prices," company states in response to McKesson invoices showing that Boehringer Ingelheim had discounted prices for its Alupent solution and Atrovent inhaler to an unidentified customer. The invoices were part of NARD's testimony at the House Energy and Commerce/Health Subcommittee's recent Medicaid hearing ("The Pink Sheet" Aug. 24, T&G-5). "We assume McKesson made an error in discounting these products to a mail-order house," B-I said.
