Lilly topside succession
Executive Summary
No comment at recent April 15 Lilly annual meeting on future plans for top management. Richard Wood, 64, has been chairman of the firm since 1972. He turns 65 during the second half of this year, though Lilly does not have a mandatory retirement policy. Two of the company's four exec VPs are viewed as the likeliest successors: Eugene Step (62 years old, 34 years with Lilly) and Vaughn Bryson (52, 29 years with the company) .
