Bioline hydroxyzine pamoate recall
Executive Summary
Totaling about 237 bottles of the antihistamine product in 50 mg caps announced by FDA Oct. 1. Bioline says the bottles in two lots (91009 and 91240) may contain 0.2 mg tablets of the antihypertensive drug clonidine HCl. The agency advises patients taking a drug labeled as the Bioline antihistamine to be sure it contains capsules and not peach-colored, scored tablets with a "dp" logo above the scoreline and "02" below. Both drugs were made and labeled by Duramed using Bioline labels.
