Should be given to all children at 15 months of age, the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends, rather than the 18 months previously advised. AAP updated its position after reviewing data on three conjugate vaccine products licensed by FDA: Merck's PedvaxHIB, Connaught's ProHIBIT and Praxis Biologics' HibTITER.
