Continues dismantling of Shulton consumer products group with June 21 announcement from Clorox that it is acquiring Shulton's household products business (Pine-Sol and Combat) for $465 mil. in cash. P&G agreed to purchase the Old Spice and Santa Fe fragrance lines June 13 for a price tag "in excess" of $300 mil. Still on the American Cyanamid subsidiary's selling block are Pierre Cardin fragrances, Breck hair care and Lady's Choice personal care lines.
