The Peoples Republic of China has been added. The listing "demonstrates...commitment to strong worldwide intellectual property protection" and ensures continued talks that" could lead to progress toward stronger patent protection for pharmaceuticals in these and other nations," PMA said. Argentina, Indonesia, the Philippines, Turkey, Canada, Venezuela and Chile were included on a "watch list".
