Executive Summary

Baltimore-based contract lab names V. Brewster Jones as president of PharmaKinetics U.S.A. under a management reorganization announced April 25. For the last five years, Jones has been president of Compucare, a contract healthcare facilities and data management firm. He reports to PharmaKinetics Labs President and CEO Steve Woodman. Reporting to Woodman are Glenn McAvoy, who has been promoted to VP and chief financial officer, from corporate comptroller, and Christopher Holloway, managing director of PharmaKinetics' wholly owned West German subsidiary International Bio Research (IBR), which was acquired by PharmaKinetics in July 1989. McAvoy succeeds Thomas Rice who is leaving to start a financial consulting service, the company said.
