Licensing agreement with Hoechst subsidiary Behringwerke is signed for the manufacture and marketing of soluble receptor products in Japan, company said March 14. Immunex will receive an up-front payment of $3 mil. and product royalties, as well as two additional payments based on performance milestones. The biotech firm says that the three installments will exceed the $7.3 mil. paid to acquire the rights for the products in 1989.
