Prescription audit firm will be purchased by Stamford, Connecticut-based drug sales management firm Walsh International for an undisclosed amount. PDS is a subsidiary of third-party prescription drug claims processing operation PCS, which is 86% owned by drug wholesaler McKesson. Walsh is also entering into long-term agreements to purchase data from PCS and McKesson Corp. PDS will remain based in Scottsdale, Arizona.
