Executive Summary

Carole Kennedy, 47, elected president and chief operating officer. Her appointment rounds out the new upper echelon formed with the recent naming of California Pharmacists Association CEO Robert Johnson, 54, as CEO of PCS ("The Pink Sheet" Dec. 18, T&G-2). Kennedy joined PCS in May as exec VP and general manager from the managed health care firm, Alta Health Services. PCS interim President and CEO John Pfeiffer, 63, will serve as vice chairman and CEO until the PCS buyback is complete, and will then retire.
