Executive Summary
Plans IND filings for two injectable products by the end of 1990: thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) and Ananain. TSH is intended as an in vivo diagnostic as well as a therapeutic for thyroid cancer metastases. The drug would allow patients after thyroid removal to continue hormonal replacement therapy while undergoing full body radiation scan to treat metastases. The pineapple stem extract, Ananain, is being developed as a debriding agent to remove dead tissue from wounds such as skin ulcers and burns.
