Walter Wenninger appointed managing director of the Health Care Sector, comprising the Pharmaceuticals, Self-Medication and Diagnostics Business Groups, effective Nov. 1. He currently is general manager of the Self-Medication Business Group. Wenninger, who has held U.S. posts with Bayer's Cutter Labs and Miles, succeeds Ernst Schraufstatter, who will begin his pre-retirement leave. Schraufstatter has been with Bayer for 39 years and has managed the Health Care Sector since 1984.
