NORCLIFF THAYER OFFICES RELOCATING TO BEECHAM PRODUCTS HEADQUARTERS in Pittsburgh as part of an executive management restructuring move. The decision could affect up to 85 employees who currently work at Norcliff Thayer's Tarrytown, NY administrative offices. The movement of "key people" is slated to be completed in four to six months, according to Beecham. The relocation was announced to employees Jan. 14. Further announcements on organizational and executive changes are expected to begin in the next few weeks. The decision to move Norcliff Thayer's management is the result of a study to determine the location and management structure for the merged organization that was initiated shortly after the appointment of Norcliff Thayer President Charles Pergola to the top spot at Beecham Products USA ("The Pink Sheet," Dec. 19, T&G-12). The two merged units manage Beecham's Aqua Fresh, Massengill, Sucrets and Vivarin brands and Norcliff Thayer's Oxy skin care and Tums products. The ongoing restructuring is not expected to affect Beecham's manufacturing facilities in Aiken, SC, Clifton, NJ and Rockwood, MI or Norcliff Thayer's plant in St. Louis, MO.
