Lilly in the Dominican Republic
Lilly is opening a 14,000 sq. ft., $ 1 mil. final packaging facility for Ceclor in Itabo Industrial Park. The facility, developed as part of the twin plants program of the Caribbean Basin Initiative, will eventually employ 75. It is Lilly's second in the Caribbean outside of Puerto Rico. Lilly is part of a co-venture with Abbott and Upjohn in Costa Rica to manufacture production and R&D uniforms.
