Antibiotic will be available in 300 mg clindamycin HCI maroon-colored capsules starting the week of July 25. FDA approved the 300 mg dose on April 18. Generic versions of 75 mg and 150 mg Cleocin are currently on the market. In promotional material, Upjohn suggests that the 300 mg dose will improve compliance.
