Class One nation wide recall of Humco brand ipecac syrup (one ounce bottles) initiated April 29 after a Thrift Drug Store in Pittsburgh reported seven finding bottles that contained eucalyptus oil. Humco, based in Texarkan, Texas, initiated a recall of selected lots of Brite Life ipecac syrup and Brite Life iodine on April 22 after discovering 18 bottles of iodine mislabeled as ipecac.
