Cough/cold Rxs up in February
Prescription audit firm Pharmaceutical Data Services reports a 13% increase in new prescription activity for cough/cold products over February 1987. Out of a group of 10 selected oral antibiotic/antihistamines/bronchodilators categories, cephalosporins showed the largest one-month increase, almost 24% over February 1987.
