PMA's Health Care Quality Alliance
Executive Summary
Leaders of 25 voluntary health, medical and elderly groups met on June 29-30 at PMA headquarters in Washington to share perspectives on such issues as the quality of today's health care and how health care is changing in relation to cost containment. The meeting, chaired by PMA President Gerald Mossinghoff, is part of the association's effort to make contact with potential allies in the healthcare field. The group decided to organize a workshop to serve as a forum for leaders to analyze health care policies and issues. The group's next meeting will be held in the fall at the American College of Cardiology and chaired by that association's president Dr. Frances Klocke.
