Syntex will be manufacturing and supplying Rugby with the equivalents to its Norinyl 1 + 35 and 1 + 50 oral contraceptive tablet products. Rugby will be marketing the contraceptives under the brandname Genora. Ortho, under a licensing agreement with Syntex, also markets the oral contraceptives under the name Ortho-Novum 1/35 and 1/50.
