Sterling sells Hilton-Davis
H.D. Acquisitions Corp., a newly formed company owned by Philip Kamins, agreed to acquire Hilton-Davis Chemicals for an undisclosed price. The division had sales of approximately $110 mil. in 1984, the last year Sterling reported results for the unit. Sterling announced plans to divest the business in December 1985.
