Arm & Hammer Advance Breath Care "well received" in retailer sell-in, C&D says July 27; extension, which includes toothpaste, mouthwash, gum and mints, will launch in September (1"The Tan Sheet" July 16, p. 6). C&D oral/personal care sales fell slightly to $38.3 mil. in Q2. Net sales grew 27% to $257.1 mil.; net income increased 8.9% to $13.5 mil. Effective Aug. 1, James Rogula named president of personal care business and ArmKel division. Most recently with Scotts Company, Rogula previously was Arm & Hammer VP/general manager (1982-1989) and VP-new products at Carter-Wallace. C&D announced deal to purchase C-W's consumer brands in early May (2"The Tan Sheet" May 14, p. 8)
