Executive Summary
Two months after postponing its IPO, GlycoMimetics Inc. (diseases associated with carbohydrate biology) succeeded in going public, netting $60mm by selling 8.1mm shares (including the overallotment; and more than the 5.75mm announced days before the offering closed) for $8. The company first filed an S-1 in October 2013, setting terms of 4mm shares at $14-16.
