Executive Summary
BioMotiv LLC (acquires preclinical drug candidates for early-stage development and then out-licenses) has spun out its first company, autoimmune-focused Orca Pharmaceuticals Ltd. BioMotiv and the NYU Innovation Fund seeded the company, which according to the SEC, was funded with $800k. (Six other investors also participated in the initial round.)
