Oncology therapeutics start-up Cleave Biosciences raised $42mm through its tranched Series A round. US Venture Partners, 5AM Ventures, Clarus Ventures, OrbiMed Advisors, and Astellas Venture Management participated. All of the investors except Astellas (which provided the smallest investment) will take seats on the company’s board.
