Executive Summary
Start-up Vaxxas Pty. Ltd. (silicone patch technology) is being launched with a $A15mm ($16mm) Series A round from Australian and international venture capitalists led by OneVentures and including Brandon Capital, the Medical Research Commercialization Fund (managed by Brandon Capital), Brisbane Angels, and HealthCare Ventures. UniQuest Pty. Ltd., the tech transfer arm of the University of Queensland, negotiated the financing.
