Executive Summary
Vertos Medical (sells a minimally invasive surgical device for lumbar spinal stenosis) raised $15.5mm in its Series D financing round to new and lead backer Onset Ventures, which adds a board member. Returning shareholders CHL Medical Partners, Foundation Medical Partners, Aweida Venture Partners, and DFJ Mercury also participated. The company will use the funds to continue US commercialization of its mild (minimally invasive lumbar decompression) technology.
