Estech gets $11.2mm in Series B-1 money

Executive Summary

Estech (cardiovascular device maker also known as Endoscopic Technologies) has raised $11.2mm through the first closing of its Series B-1 venture round to returning backers Boston Scientific (which holds the option under a 2004 agreement to acquire the company), Telegraph Hill Partners, and new investor Saints Capital. The company is hoping to bring in up to $25mm. Through a separate transaction, in a plan to divest non strategic assets, BSC has sold its equity stake in Estech to investor Saints Capital.
