Executive Summary
Kinetic Concepts (KCI; wound healing devices and therapeutic support beds and surfaces) has agreed to pay $1.7bn cash (or $51 per share, a 19% premium) to acquire all of publicly owned LifeCell's (regenerative tissue repair) 34mm outstanding shares.
