The pediatric nutrition firm will ramp up powdered formula production with a 32,000 square foot facility in Evansville, Ind. Mead Johnson will add the $32.8 million powder blending and packaging facility to its existing global operations center in Evansville, which traditionally produced liquid products. Slated to begin production in late 2010, the Evansville plant will supplement the company's current powder production at its Zeeland, Mich., facility, Mead Johnson said Sept. 21.
