FDA approves Dec. 29 Corona, Calif.-based Watson Laboratories' mint-flavored OTC Nicotine Polacrilex gum in 2 mg and 4 mg. The gum is the generic equivalent of GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare's Nicorette fresh mint gum, and will hit store shelves in early January.
