Executive Summary
Two independent peer reviews give the Government Accountability Office "clean opinions" on its quality assurance system to produce congressional reports and testimony, the office announces June 30. An international peer review team led by the office of the Auditor General of Canada examined GAO's performance audit work, and the accounting firm KPMG assessed its financial audit work and attestation engagements.
