General Mills announces July 24 it extended the addition of Martek Biosciences life'sDHA to its Yoplait Kids Yogurt Drink. The Minneapolis-based firm announced in January it planned to add the omega-3 product to its yogurt in a cup product (1"The Tan Sheet" Jan. 22, 2007, In Brief). The yogurt drink comes in four flavors: strawberry, strawberry banana, mixed berry and banana. Each 3.1 oz bottle contains 16 mg of DHA per serving. The 6-pack retails for $2.99. Separately, Ocean Nutrition Canada Limited announces July 23 its MEG-3 omega-3 product will now be included in Danone's Danino drinkable yogurt line. The product is already featured in other Danone products. Each 93 ml. bottle contains 20 mg of the omega-3 product. The product with flavors banana, strawberry, raspberry and strawberry-banana retails in Canada...

Martek Biosciences announces Jan. 11 General Mills has added Martek's life'sDHA to the Yoplait Kids line. "This 'on-the-go' yogurt product will provide health-conscious parents with a unique, high quality, nutritious selection to give their children," the company says.
