GSK/NCPA medication therapy management pilot
Executive Summary
GlaxoSmithKline has partnered with the National Community Pharmacists Association on a pilot program examining how medication therapy management can help patients with uncontrolled asthma. The pilot, which launched March 15, has already enrolled nearly 240 of its target of 500 pharmacies, as of March 24. Patient interventions and communications with physicians will be conducted over a six-month period and will examine pharmacists' impact on delivering care services and improving health outcomes.
