Executive Summary
Biotechnology Industry Organization forms a new Health Section Governing Body Jan. 3. Restructuring decentralizes responsibility for executing and ratifying healthcare-related policy decisions away from BIO's Board of Directors and executive committee to the Health Section Governing Body. Health Section is the fourth section to have a governing body, completing a shift in organizational structure that began with the arrival of CEO Jim Greenwood one year ago (1"The Pink Sheet" Jan. 10, 2005, p. 13).
