Michigan Medicaid may require prior authorization for drugs that do not provide rebates to non-Medicaid programs, D.C. federal appeals court affirms April 2. The Pharmaceutical Research & Manufacturers of America's lawsuit against the state argued the policy was not in the "best interest" of Medicaid recipients; the lower court also ruled against PhRMA (1"The Pink Sheet" March 31, 2003, In Brief).
