Executive Summary
Ten-member Corporate Alliance for Integrative Medicine merges with Dietary Supplement Education Alliance, giving DSEA an additional $65,000 in funding. CAIM was formed by a group of supplement companies in 1998 to jointly fund university research on supplements, develop educational initiatives for medical professionals and consumers. Merger is aimed at decreasing administrative duplication, encouraging industry cooperation on educational efforts.
