Executive Summary
Georgetown University School of Medicine Associate Dean for Clinical Research Raymond Woosley, MD/PhD, has accepted position as dean of University of Arizona College of Medicine beginning this fall. Woosley is understood to have been interviewed by the White House and HHS for post of FDA commissioner the week of June 11 before deciding to accept Arizona position. Woosley's fall from contention for commissioner's spot should come as a relief to dietary supplement advocates; he has been a persistent critic of ephedrine alkaloid-containing products
