Executive Summary
William Weldon named vice chairman, overseeing Pharmaceuticals Group, Consumer Pharmaceuticals & Nutritional Products Group, corporate office of science & technology and corporate business development. Group Chairman Robert Savage replaces Weldon as global Rx chairman. Worldwide Medical Devices & Diagnostics Group Chairman James Lenehan also is elevated to vice chairman. Both vice chairmen will report jointly to CEO Ralph Larsen and Senior Vice Chairman Robert Wilson. Management reshuffling may signal a succession race under Larsen.
