Former SmithKline Beecham CEO Jan Leschly forms new investment firm in conjunction with former SB Senior VP-Information Resources John Parker and former Rhone Group Managing Director David Ramsay. The fund has co-investment arrangements with Morgan Stanley and Rho Management, and will have an initial capitalization of $100 mil. Care Capital will focus on "the impact of scientific innovation and technological development in the life sciences on the quality of healthcare."
