Kitchen Prescription Foods May Not Make Structure/Function Claims - FDA

Hain Food Group soups marketed under the Kitchen Prescription brand name and containing St. John's wort or echinacea are conventional foods, not dietary supplements, and therefore may not bear structure/function claims, FDA states in a July 19 "courtesy" letter.
