NDMA CHAIRMAN-ELECT IS DEL PRESIDENT HINKATY, the Nonprescription Drug Manufacturers Association announced Jan. 29. Charles Hinkaty was appointed to the position Jan. 27, which puts him in line to become chairman when the term of Chairman Gary Balkema ends in March 1999. Balkema, Bayer's exec VP and president, Consumer Care Region Northern Americas, will stand for re-election for a second term at NDMA's Executive Conference in Palm Beach, Fla. March 19-22.
