Medicines Australia's chair, Dr. Martin Cross, will be retiring from the board after nearly 30 years in the pharmaceutical industry – effective Oct. 20, 2015. Cross was appointed Medicines Australia's chair in 2013, joining the industry association from Alphapharm, where he was managing director. He highlighted the effect of budget related cuts on the sector and his disappointment of failing to come to a strategic agreement with the government before his retirement.
