Swedish specialty company Meda has promoted Dr Jörg-Thomas Dierks to CEO, after Anders Lönner decided to step down after 14 years leading the firm. Dr Dierks has been Meda's chief operating officer since 2005, and has previous experience at Novo Nordisk and Viatris. Mr Lönner said he will "be spending my time with own and associated companies in the pharmaceutical area."
