Executive Summary
Chairman of the Board and CFO Robert Darretta has elected to retire in early 2007 after serving the company for 38 years, Johnson & Johnson reports Oct. 6. Darretta is credited with helping drive the company's finance organization forward with a strong business focus and "has been instrumental in helping the company deliver consistent, sustainable and superior performance," according to CEO William Weldon.
