Executive Summary

Phenomen-A Double Retinol Treatment for Eyes slowly delivers the active ingredient in cyclaspheres, while an exclusive C.U.R.E. Complex "supports anti-wrinkle action," the company claims. The eye product will be joined by All Day Wrinkle Creme SPF 12, which contains the anti-wrinkle complex and a lower dose of retinol. The creme's active sunscreen ingredients are octyl methoxycinnamate (7.5%), oxybenzone (2.5%) and avobenzone (.5%). Available in September, a .5 oz. eye treatment is $45, while 1 oz. and 1.7 oz. day creme are $45 and $68, respectively. The line extensions join nighttime Phenomen-A treatment, launched a year ago (1"The Rose Sheet" June 21, 1999, p. 4)
