Brexit: EMA Has A Visit A Week From Potential Hosts
At least half a dozen countries are interested in hosting the European Medicines Agency if Brexit means it has to leave London. But do they have what it would take?

Jeremy Hunt, the UK Secretary of State for Health, has told a parliamentary committee that the EMA is likely to leave the UK but that his government will be seeking a close relationship with the agency that could involve the mutual recognition by the UK regulator of EU drug approvals.

Industry group ABPI is focusing on the fact that the report from parliamentarians on the cross-party Exiting the EU Committee has made at least some mention of the need to ensure that medicines regulation is ready for Brexit on “day one.”
