The European Medicines Agency and the Heads of Medicines Agencies have published a "road map" describing the implementation plans for the EU'stelematics strategy, which is intended to help improve the efficiency of Europe's medicines regulatory network1. The strategy includes upgrading IT systems with new submission formats, databases and data standards that will link in with the EU member states' own systems.
