The report, minutes and oral and written evidence that a UK parliamentary committee published on 17 September on the shortcomings of the clinical trials environment run to 204-pages1,2.
The report component of the House of Commons Science and Technology Committee's inquiry into the clinical trials environment is 73 pages in length. In the report, the committee urges the government to push for more transparency in registering and publishing the results of clinical trials, including the controlled sharing of raw patient-level data, and the publication of clinical study reports redacted of identifiable patient data.
