At least seven heads of EU medicines agencies (HMAs) have been in the job for less than a year.

The most recent addition to the network is Anthony Serracino Inglott, who just been appointed chief executive of Malta’s Medicines Authority1. Other countries whose HMAs are in this group are Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Portugal, Romania and Slovenia2.
